Rhetoric is the art of speaking to others through the language of persuasion along with convincing. Rhetoric can be looked at negatively because it can be an exaggeration from the truth. Although, it could have a positive outlook. Through literature and stories, rhetoric is what opens ones mind into the illusions and imagery one can not physically visualize.
An argument is a dispute between two or more parties where they are verbalizing their opinions on a subject. A reasoning for an argument is to defend and support ones opinion on the matter.
I keep returning to your use of relinquishing here. Is this the right term? Can you offer a synonym for relinquish in this sense (for my sake as I am not fully apprending) -- thanks!
